If you'd like to take a scenic drive, one you may want to consider is the route that finishes at The United States Military Academy at West Point. The surrounding Hudson Valley is replete with things to see and do. The village of Tarrytown boasts numerous historic sites and antique shops. Tarrytown is the home of Washington Irving, author of "Rip Van Winkle and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow." Nearby Kykuit has been home to four generations of Rockefellers in Pocantico Hills.
